I’m Ivan Cacchioni, an independent art director based in Rome. My practice moves between photography, painting, calligraphy and generative AI. After more than ten years behind the camera, an ongoing painting and lettering practice, and work on set for The Decameron at Cinecittà, I bring a material understanding to identity, image direction and digital spaces. Generative systems extend that practice when they improve research, control or production. I work directly with every project — no account layer, no generic production line.

Direction comes before the tools.
A logo, image or workflow is only useful when it belongs to a clear point of view. I start with what makes the work specific, then choose the right combination of direction, photography, physical making and generative systems.
